It's hard to believe that this will be my very last issue working on Lumen. The last two years have gone by faster than I imagined they would and it's hard to recall all the lessons and experiences I have learned.
It's also hard to believe that I will be graduating college in less than two weeks. With the current job market, sadly, I'm not as excited about leaving college as I thought I would be. Despite the lack of job offers coming my way, it is still an exciting, and at times, fearful, time in my life.
I am very happy and proud of everything I have learned at Viterbo the last four years. I have learned so much about the English language and literature through the interesting, and at times, painfully difficult classes, which caused many late nights. I also appreciate the variety of courses I have taken, despite the pain and suffering from human anatomy and chemistry courses my freshman year.
Along with the education I received at Viterbo, I am grateful that I was able to make some great friends and memories full of inside jokes and laughter. Last but most certainly not least, I am so thankful that I was able to meet my future husband four years ago on the first floor of Marian Hall. Without you, I don't know who I'd be today and I can't wait for us to continue our life together.
Back to more of an educational note, I would like to thank everyone who has taught me or helped me at Viterbo. I would also like to thank all the readers of Lumen for continuing to support and read our paper. It has been a great experience and I have had a wonderful time working on Lumen. I have learned so many things, professionally and personally, and I hope I am lucky enough to find another "job" after I graduate. Thank you Viterbo for everything!
